EXPERIENCE

 

  • May 2008 – present: Resource/Information Officer (Kiva Coordinator) Salone Microfinance Trust (SMT).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between SMT and Kiva
  • Raise funds for SMT on Kiva’s website
  • Post journal updates for all SMT/Kiva borrowers
  • Report Monthly repayments
  • Market SMT on radio, TV, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit new clients for loan disbursement
  • Sensitize SMT clients on SMT’s policies and on basic marketing strategies
  • Disburse loans to clients and follow-up on clients’ progress

  • Administer questionnaires to track public expenditure on Agriculture, Health and Education in Tonkolili districts inNorthern Sierra Leone

  • Supervising a team of enumerators
  • Regularly send completed questionnaires and progress reports to the field coordinator and keep headquarters informed of the team’s location
  • Assign work to interviewers, taking into account their linguistic competence, and assure that there is an equitable distribution of the work load
  • Review each survey completed by members of the team, including filling in supervisor’s questionnaires and ensuring that any errors are corrected in the field.
